What Is an AI Animated Video? A Simple Explanation
It's not an Instagram filter
Here's the big difference. A filter lays a visual effect over your photo or video in real time, with no idea of the story behind it. An AI animated video is a short film built from scratch: a script, animated characters inspired by your real photos, a setting and often a voiceover or music. It's far more than a "stylized" picture.
How it's made, step by step
It all starts with a few clear photos of the people involved. From those, we create Pixar/Disney-style animated characters that look like the real people, only as 3D cartoons. Then we build a short scene or story (usually anywhere from 15 seconds to 2 minutes), complete with a setting, movement and, if you like, music or narration.
Why AI, and not traditional animation
Traditional studio-style animation would take weeks or months and cost thousands for just a few seconds of footage. AI is used as a production tool that cuts that time from weeks to hours. It doesn't replace creativity; it speeds up the process. The result is still personal, shaped around each client's story, never an automatic template.
Which occasions it's right for
Most often, people order these videos for a gender reveal, a baptism, a wedding (as a Save the Date), a child's birthday or a marriage proposal. But they work just as well without any special occasion, simply as a gift for someone you love: a mom, a dad, grandparents, a husband or wife.
How long it takes and what it costs
It depends on the complexity. A simple video can take a few hours, while a more elaborate story (a marriage proposal, for example) can take a few days. With us, prices start from $60 per video.
